Sören Gussner

Gussner is an experienced Norwegian business lawyer with over 10 years of experience and broad expertise in business law, with a particular specialization in cross-border employment, services and posted workers, as well as the establishment of subsidiaries and permanent establishments for foreign businesses in Norway. He completed his legal education in Trier, Germany, specializing in corporate and securities law, and wrote his thesis, "Die Ad-hoc-Publizität der AG," on the ad hoc disclosure obligations of public companies under the then-applicable German Securities Trading Act (WpHG). During his studies, he spent an exchange year at the University of Bergen in 2009-2010. Gussner holds both German state examinations and is admitted to practice law in both Norway and Germany.

Gussner has worked in Norway since 2015 assisting foreign clients, and has a long background from the Norwegian-German Chamber of Commerce, where he assisted a number of international companies with their projects or establishment in Norway. He continues to work extensively with foreign companies establishing themselves in Norway, with particular emphasis on German-speaking clients, and works closely with project managers on matters related to tax, VAT, labor law, HR/payroll, immigration, social security, and general business law.
